Newspapers
1941
Newspapers can be important sources for family researchers. They contain stories of people's achievements, new businesses, graduations, announcements of births, marriages and deaths. Check out the Barrhead Leader at: www.barrheadleader.com
Tracing Your Roots
Finding out where a person was born, where he married, where he died and was buried is helpful information to locating where our families lived. Then we can find the location of birth certificates, church records, cemetery records, census, land records and so on. And that can be very exciting!
